Make a Statement x Giveaway |CLOSED|

Fall is here, and fall fashion is in full swing. I’m here really quickly to share my favorite trend right now, the Statement necklace. Many boutique stores have been joining in with their own twist and interpretation… so I am here to share some of my faves and also tell you where you can buy them. The best statement pieces around are sold from a company called Dylanlex by creative director Drew Ginsburg. The pieces can be found at are very ornate but quite pricey. Some of the necklaces range in upwards of a thousand dollars. Now I know my frugal shopaholics are ready to close this post window. But you guys know I am going to give you the look for less.

I have a few boutiques that have stocked comparable styles of these statement pieces but I am here to share my faves with you. A boutique by the name of Fancy Kouture Accessories has the best selection I’ve seen in my search thus far. Their prices are very affordable and if you find a piece you like I am sure you will not break the bank. The prices range from 35-70 dollars and the pieces are well made. You can find her pieces at

Anyone that knows me understands that I love limited edition pieces that allow for a unique sense of style so when I found out that NYC fashion stylist Stafani Milano had partnered with the accessory boutique Fashion Whore House to create a unique statement piece due to release this month I was super excited. The piece features all the elements of an over the top statement necklace along with antique metals and bib fashion necklace that is sure to turn heads this fall. Stay tuned for the official release date, coming soon! They have also stocked some cool geometric statement bangles that I was able to get my hands on and I could not wait to wear them as soon as I took them out of the package!

If the huge metal statement pieces are a bit much for you there are some simpler options on the site. I was inspired by personal style guru Cris Cavallari to purchase a simple yet still statement making piece from a smaller boutique by the name of PearlsandMetals run by Tyra Hudgens Spencer out of Detroit. I searched high and low to find the piece and was able to get my hands on the last one she had in stock this morning. But I had to look out for my girls so I did find another seller ( I didn’t want to leave you ladies hanging.

The very first photo in this post is what inspired me to write this post and was taken directly from the Dylanlex Instagram page. It features the necklace from their site, a Rag & Bone sweater, and Chanel shoes. I feel like this is a great and care free look for the fall. It is so feminine and comfy and the epitome of fall style for me this year. Unfortunately I do not see myself walking into a Rag & Bone or a Chanel store anytime soon so I had to find out where I could go to get the look!

I was able to find a similar sweater at one of my favorite stores H&M for less than 35 dollars.

I don’t think I need to mention that Chanel shoes are expensive but I was able to find a similar shoe on sale from Vince Camuto for only $69.99.
